Promo Video for Internal Campaign

Internal Campaign Promo Video
The objective was to create a video from scratch to promote one of the new initiatives inside the company.
This is where I want to talk about all the work that went into this video.
Script & Voiceover
I created the script with two active stakeholders. Upon completing the first draft, the stakeholders revised it, left their comments, after which I completed the script. The tone & voice needed to be lively and intriguing because the main idea was to introduce a new idea inside the company.
One of the main challenges was creating a script for 60 seconds of voiceover. Fitting all of the information that I was given into such little time was quite difficult. However, after analyzing the information, I decided to omit any unnecessary details and create a script that would be more of a stepping stone for the viewers rather than a full-pledged explainer video.
Then I recorded and edited the voiceover, as well as found background music that would fit the fun tone of the video.
Style Frames
The next step was to create style frames for the entire video.
I decided to go with a space theme, seeing as a large portion of the upcoming campaign relied on "space" metaphors.
The video would be set in two scenes: a classroom and space. It was important to think of seamless transition between these two scenes, which is the next step I'll talk about.
Transitions
The first introduction to the classroom is a board with sticky notes, that are being placed as we watch the video. Then the camera pans up and zooms out, reveling a spaceship getting ready to launch.
After that a hand comes into frame with a photo of Mars. From here, we zoom into the screen in the right corner of the control panel to see 4 moon landings.
A spaceship comes into frame, passes the moon and flies further. That's when the text comes on screen, with slogans for the internal campaign: "Change is inevitable. Change is necessary."
My favorite transition is the arm popping into frame and taking the spaceship out of the air. The viewer is suddenly brought back to the classroom, where students are seemingly learning about space.
And the last transition is a zoom in on Mars as it floats in space, accompanied by the voiceover talking about metaphorically reaching Mars one day.
The video was created from scratch in 10 days. I made sure to include all of the necessary corporate styles and wording, and made sure to follow all corporate guidelines.
It was important for me to create a lively video that's just right timing-wise. Seeing as the target audience are various corporate employees with busy schedules, I needed to make a video that people would watch entirely. So, it needed to be short and intriguing. Both of those objectives were fulfilled, and, as a result, here's the video, ready to be enjoyed.
